Victim Services is a civilian group of staff and volunteers created to assist victims of crime and support law enforcement. Victim Service workers are on call to provide aid, comfort, and assistance/resources to victims, witnesses, and survivors of crime. Services are also provided to citizens who experience a crisis due to a traumatic event or death.
Services include:
• Education and Referrals
• Grief and Loss Support
• On Scene Crisis Intervention and Emotional Support
• Domestic Violence Crisis Response
• Follow up Contact
• Death Notification
