Burn Permits
Please Note: No residential open burning is allowed within the City of Maricopa or Town of Florence. Therefore no residential open burning permits will be issued for residences in the City of Maricopa or Town of Florence.
Open Burning Permits may be obtained:
- In-person at the new Development Services Building, 85 N Florence Street, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm
- In-person using a Kiosk at the Mammoth office, 118 Catalina Street, Tuesday and Thursday, 9 am to 3 pm (Staff will be available to assist you if needed.)
- Online (Recommended method). Customers can apply 24 hours 7 days a week. However, permits are only issued Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm and may take up to 24 hours to process. Obtain a permit online.
Burn permits are not approved if:
- The application is received by fax or email
- Prohibited materials are requested in the application
- The application is incomplete
