Enforcement and Modification Project (EMAP) is a non-confidential service offered to parties that have filed a request to enforce or modify child support and the State is not a party. A Family Services of the Conciliation Court legal professional will be available to meet with the parties prior to their hearing with the Judge to see if there is agreement.
If agreement is reached, the Family Services of the Conciliation Court mediator will prepare the child support documents for the parties and Court to sign.
If no agreement is reached, the parties will have their hearing with the Judge as scheduled.
No legal advice will be provided and information regarding the outcome will be reported to the Judge.
