Road Maintenance

The Pinal County Public Works Road Maintenance safely maintains and repair roads, bridges, traffic signs, guardrails and cattle guards. We make a conscious effort to correct drainage issues, solve various roadway problems and assist other divisions with projects. We are proud supporters of recycling and waste tire, Pavement Preservation, and the Adopt-A-Highway program.

Road Maintenance Vs. Traffic Engineering

The Pinal County Public Works is fortunate to have a Road Maintenance division and a Traffic Engineering section to provide various services. Road Maintenance will maintain and repair existing roads, traffic signs, guardrails, cattle guards and bridges. Traffic Engineering maintains traffic signals and roadway striping. They are responsible for various aspects of traffic safety: will tend to new traffic sign requests, collect traffic data like traffic counts and provide information about various ordinances like speed limits, stop signs and school crossings.

Adopt-A-County Road Program

Help keep Pinal County beautiful by volunteering to keep the roads clean! There is no cost to participate. A safety class is conducted and county will provide safety vests, large garbage bags and a designated Adopt-A-Highway traffic sign to the group that adopted a section of Pinal County Highway.
