Graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's Degree in Municipal Parks and Recreation Management.

Began my career in Parks and Recreation in 1982 with the City of Chandler.

Retired from the City of Casa Grande in 2011 after nearly 30 years.

Most recent experience was serving the City of Casa Grande and it's citizens as the Community Services Director, overseeing and managing the Parks, Recreation, Library and Golf Course divisions. Other related experience included overseeing the development of trails within Casa Grande Mountain Park, involving assistance from many volunteers in the community and surrounding areas, plus working closely with adjacent property owners and other key stakeholders such as the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) the National Park Service Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance Program (RTCA) and Americorps. In addition, assisted in the development and implementation of various Master Plans related to Parks, Open Space, Trails, Recreation and Library Services.
