As the Director of the Adult Education program at Central Arizona College, Susan oversees a program that serves students throughout Pinal County. This program offers GED Prep classes, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, as well as Integrated Education and Training opportunities.
Why did you join the Pinal County Workforce Development Board?
I'm the WIOA Title II representative for Pinal County. I am passionate about providing education and training opportunities for students who've struggled in our traditional K-12 schools as well as for students who are learning English. As a member of the board, I am able to contribute to the region's efforts in developing a quality workforce system.
I lived in Mexico for a few years after college and am fluent in Spanish.
