Dana Lewis was appointed as Pinal County Recorder by the Board of Supervisors in August 2022.
Dana stepped into the role from her position as Assistant to the Recorder, which she had moved into in January 2022.
An airforce veteran, Dana spent eight years in the military as a personalist and security forces augmentee, leaving as a Staff Sergeant. She moved to Arizona in 2013 and ran her own small business before joining Pinal County as an Elections Specialist in 2019. A resident of Casa Grande, she is a Certified Election Official for the State of Arizona and working to receive her Certificate in Election and Registration Administration from Auburn University in 2023.
She is the mother of two grown children, Shelby and Jack, and is a Board Member for the Coolidge Veterans Commission and the Casa Grande Historic Preservation Commission. She is also a member of the Signal Peak branch of Toastmasters.
