Christopher Wanamaker was appointed as Pinal County Engineer in March 2021. In this role, Chris oversees the Public Works Department's Engineering Branch, including Flood Control, Surveying, In-House Design, and Traffic Engineering divisions.
Chris joined Pinal County in 2006 as a civil engineering intern. He has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University and an M.S. in Engineering from the University of Arkansas. He is also a registered Professional Engineer, Certified Floodplain Manager, and Certified Public Manager.
Chris is married with two children. During his time off, he enjoys spending time with the family, reading books, writing, or working on projects around the house.
